How can we help?
This GoFundMe campaign was created so that our wonderful community is able to help a family that is very deserving of our love and support. Lori and Randy Stover have three wonderful daughters Brooke, Brandi and Brianna. Brianna is a sophomore at Sycamore High School, Brandi is an eighth grader at Sycamore Middle School and Brooke, a recent graduate of SHS, attends UW Platteville as a freshman.
Randy was diagnosed with Multiple System Atrophy late in 2018, and is medically unable to return to work again. Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) is explained further below, but is a disease without a cure and has a very heavy impact on those diagnosed and their families.
We want to provide Lori and Randy with some financial support that will allow all of the Stover’s to spend time together as stress-free as possible and focus their attention on making memories as a family. Lori and Randy have two of the largest hearts that we know—and we would love your support in easing some of the burden during this difficult and emotional phase in their lives.

What IS Multiple System Atrophy?
Multiple system atrophy (MSA) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder characterized by a combination of symptoms that affect both the autonomic nervous system (the part of the nervous system that controls involuntary actions such as blood pressure or digestion) and movement. The cause of MSA is unknown. Symptoms of MSA include fainting, heart rate problems, and loss of motor control (that can include loss of control, limited movement, tremors, rigidity, loss of coordination and loss of speech). Many compare MSA to Parkinson’s disease; however MSA progresses at a quicker rate than its counterpart. The life expectancy after diagnosis with MSA is about 8 years.
MSA is a rare disease that affects 15,000-50,000 Americans. While some symptoms of MSA can be treated, there are no drugs available to slow the disease progress—and there is no cure.
