Dear friends, I’m writing to ask you to pray for my sweet husband. On Wednesday night he had a seizure. We came to the ER via ambulance where it was discovered that he has a mass in his brain. He was admitted to the Neuro ICU and over the next several days they did more testing which found two more smaller masses in his brain and one in his left leg. Tomorrow morning he will undergo a surgical biopsy (under anesthesia) to determine what kind of cancer this is. I can hardly believe I’m typing these words. Our lives have felt like a horrible dream that we need to wake up from. We are frightened and anxious and overwhelmed. BUT, we are resting in God’s promises. This was no surprise to Him. He loves Steve and He is holding him right now, guiding him through this difficult journey. So many of you are praying hard for us right now and have asked your friends and families to pray too. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you! Please, please keep praying for healing, for peace, for strength and courage. Even in moments of fear, we feel God’s overwhelming peace and we are so thankful for that.
Zephaniah 3:17 - "The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing."
