Hi Family and Friends,

 

Life can change in an instant, and for my brother Mike, his wife Angela, and their daughter Leah, the past 9 months have been filled with challenges no family should ever have to face.

 

As some of you may know, Mike suffered a seizure in July 2025 and has been out of work ever since, as doctors tried to find the underlying reason for his seizure. He finally got answers and it was found to be a meningioma of his brain which he successfully underwent surgery to remove on January 12th. Doctors determined that his meningioma was a Grade 1, however there were some characteristics that were Grade 2, which means that his meningioma could grow back. Due to this, he will need to have routine MRI scans for the next few years to monitor any changes or regrowth.

 

Just as their family was beginning to recover and Mike was set to return to work on April 13th, they were hit with another heartbreaking diagnosis. Angela has been diagnosed with a brain tumor and is scheduled for surgery on April 9th.

 

In a matter of weeks, this family has gone from one life-altering diagnosis to another. Through it all, Mike and Angela have remained strong for each other and for their daughter, Leah—but the emotional, physical, and financial toll is immense.

 

We are asking for your support to help ease the burden during this incredibly difficult time. Donations will go toward medical expenses, ongoing treatments, and allowing Mike and Angela to focus on healing and being present for Leah without the added stress of financial strain.
