Supporting the sons of Galen Young
At a time of unimaginable loss, our family wants to channel love and support to lift up the young sons of Galen Young. We lost our Galen in a tragic accident when a reckless driver ran a vehicle at high speed into his mother's Memphis home. The vehicle destroyed the very room and location where Galen was sitting, ending his beautiful and impactful life.
Every day, Galen was dedicated to building a life for his boys. The plan for these funds is to secure and enable the financial future of his twin sons in the way that their amazing father, Galen Young, intended and that he worked toward every day.
- The funds will be placed in a trust established, structured, and directed by Galen's family. The trust will be held at a financial institution and the funds will be invested for growth.
- Our goal is to provide for the boys' education, extracurricular activities, medical, and travel expenses from Iowa to visit the Young family in Memphis, Tennessee.
- Our family goal is to make Galen proud and continue to imprint his legacy on his sons throughout their lives.
We greatly appreciate all of the love and support you have given to Galen during his precious 45 years. To know him was to love him and feel his bright light and love in return.
