Update~After days of heartbreak, prayer, and unimaginable sorrow, Jenna has passed away. Surrounded by her family, she gave the most incredible gift — the gift of life. In one final act of pure selflessness, Jenna became an organ donor, potentially saving the lives of 6 people and improving the lives of dozens more. Her brave and beautiful spirit lives on in those she helped, and her legacy of love will never be forgotten.

Hello, my name is Kara, and I am a close friend of the Sharp family. My daughter and Jenna have been dear friends since first grade.

On the night of May 30th, Jenna, age 14, was leaving a youth dance and crossing the street to be picked up when she was struck by a passing car. She was airlifted to Primary Children’s Hospital with severe brain injuries and is currently on life support.

Jenna is deeply loved by everyone who knows her. She is loyal, kind, spunky, and full of light. She lives with her whole heart — passionate and caring. Her warmth and vibrant spirit have touched so many lives, and in return, so many have reached out asking how to help.

Right now, the most helpful way we can support the Sharps — while giving them space to grieve and stay by Jenna’s side — is to help ease the heavy burden of the medical expenses they are facing. We are humbly asking for your support for their family during this unimaginable time.
