Supporting the Renazco Family

Most of you know that Sarah (née Morris) Renazco was our foster daughter. She came to us at just shy of 16 years old.  The Weatherford Family brought her in as one of our own.  Our family and community embraced her and worked hard to do right by her. Together we built a structure for her to thrive and thrive she did! She graduated high school in the top 10 and went off to college armed with enough scholarships to make her dreams come true. She graduated from USF four years later ready to take on the world. All who knew her know Sarah had a special force of life about her. And, all who knew her and her story wanted everything to be right for her in the future and bright it was looking. 

Tragically, Sarah left this world too soon leaving behind a wife and two young children. Her passing was unexpected and a shock not only to the young family but to the community. 

Final expensive are, well, expensive even without considering the other ‘hidden’ costs that pop up as well as a monthly budget based on two incomes abruptly becoming one.  We’ve been asked ‘what can I do to help?’.

We are looking to raise $30,000 to help with final expenses and to give the family some financial resources as they transition into single parenthood. It’s hard to ask for help but here we are. Any contribution will be accepted with so much gratitude.

We’ve been receiving a number of requests for a physical address so people can send flowers and/or cards to send their condolences. At this time, we humbly and respectfully request that rather spending money on flowers and cards, please consider donating towards the children’s future instead. Thank you for all your support over these last few days. It truly takes a village.
