Setting up this Go Fund Me was literally the hardest thing I have ever had to do.
Imagine if you would you awoke on a Friday morning and before your feet even hit the floor your mind was already making plans for the weekend. We've all done it I'm sure. Even on a subconscious level. It's Friday, it's Payday, your child's Birthday is the next day. Your head is filled with weekend adventures.
Then something so drastic happens in the course of the day that it completely changes your life forever. That is what has happened to my friend RJ. On August 16th. 2019 at approximately 3:45 PM RJ suffered a severe stroke that has left him with complete paralysis on the right side of his body and has been hospitalized since.
Everything that was once easy for him to do is no longer an easy task. Doctors feel that with physical therapy he may or may not get the use of his body back. Depends on the brain making new sensory connections and only time will tell.
I am reaching out to Family, Friends and Friends of Friends to seek donations to assist RJ in his recovery. Staggering medical Bill's and need for inhome care upon his hospital release are heavily on his mind.
If you're in a position to make a donation it would be much appreciated. If you could do no more than share this post it would also be appreciated. No one really plans for something like this to happen. We tend to forget that life can change in an instant.
