Dear Friends, Family, and Community,
It is with broken hearts that we share that our beloved Jenn has passed away after a courageous, hard-fought battle with advanced bladder cancer over the last six months. Jenn was surrounded by love throughout her journey, and while we are devastated by her loss, we are grateful that she was kept comfortable and peaceful in her final days.
Jenn’s family created and is managing this fundraiser on behalf of her husband, Jimmy, and their 10-year-old son, Landon, to help support them through the difficult days ahead and ease some of the financial burden our family knows they will face.
Jenn is a devoted mother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend whose strength and warmth have touched everyone around her. As we surround her with love during her final days, our focus is turning toward protecting the family she cherishes above all else—her husband, Jimmy, and their sweet 10-year-old son, Landon.
Landon is a bright, wonderful boy who has autism and developmental delays. His world relies heavily on stability, familiar routines, and specialized support—all of which his mom worked tirelessly to provide. Losing his mother is a life-altering shift, and navigating this new reality will require long-term care, educational and therapeutic support, and daily stability.
We are raising funds to help relieve the overwhelming financial burden on Jimmy during this devastating transition. Jenn’s family will manage the funds raised through this GoFundMe on behalf of Jimmy and Landon. The funds will be provided directly to Jimmy as needed or used to pay expenses on behalf of Jimmy and Landon. Your generosity will directly support:
- End-of-Life and Memorial Expenses: Hospice-related expenses, funeral and cremation costs, cemetery and burial expenses, memorial services, and other costs associated with honoring Jenn and laying her to rest.
- Essential Household and Living Expenses: Mortgage or housing costs, utilities, groceries, transportation, and other household bills, particularly while Jimmy takes necessary time away from work to grieve, care for Landon, and adjust to becoming his sole caregiver.
- Landon’s Ongoing Care and Support: Therapies, specialized developmental services, educational resources, childcare or caregiving assistance, and other supports needed to maintain the stability, routines, and care Landon depends upon.
- Other Family Expenses Related to This Transition: Any remaining funds will be used for Jimmy and Landon’s ongoing household and caregiving needs as they adjust to life without Jenn.
So many people have asked how they can surround Jimmy and Landon with love and support right now. Raising a child with special needs as a single dad takes an incredible amount of time and energy. We created this fund to give Jimmy the support he needs, allowing him to take necessary time off work and focus on giving Landon the stability he needs during this incredibly difficult time.
