Supporting the Perry Family
Donation protected
This fund will support the Perry Family in providing family necessities and on-going care for Mari in the coming days. At this time we are unaware of exactly what that care will look like and the specific needs, but any financial support is deeply appreciated.
As most of you know, Mari went into septic shock and experienced total internal organ failure. She was able to recover and return home for a couple days, where she suffered from several seizures that resulted in a return trip to the ICU.
On Tuesday, July 16th, per Mari’s wish to not be kept on long-term life support, she was removed from the life support machines. At that time her internal organs and physical functions were able to regulate themselves, and Mari continues to live. The extent of the damage to her brain from the seizures is unknown at this time, and Mari is able to talk, point, recognize people, communicate simply and has a healthy appetite.
Now the Perry Family is looking at hospice or in-home hospice care options for Mari, and are unsure of how long that hospice care will be necessary for, nor how much this type of care will cost.
Brad, Sam, Ben and Annabelle are deeply appreciative of all the support, love and prayers they have received from their incredible community around the country, and send the biggest possible Thank You to each and everyone of you for your donation during this difficult time.
With Blessings and Gratitude,
The Perry Family
