On December 27, 2025, our family welcomed our son, Morgan, into the world. What should have been one of the happiest moments of our lives quickly turned into a season of medical trauma we never could have imagined.
Shortly after birth, Morgan experienced serious complications that required intensive medical care and multiple hospital stays. At the same time, my wife, Haley, faced severe postpartum complications that resulted in repeated ER visits, ongoing medical treatment, and the need for constant support at home. Between caring for a newborn with medical needs and supporting my wife through her recovery, our family has been in survival mode ever since.
Because of these circumstances, I was forced to step away from work for over a month to be present for my wife and children. As a small business owner and the sole provider for our family, time off does not come with paid leave or financial protection. When work stopped, our income stopped—while medical bills, rent, utilities, and everyday expenses continued to pile up.
We are incredibly grateful for the doctors, nurses, and hospital staff who have cared for our family, and for the prayers and encouragement we’ve received along the way. However, the financial strain from this unexpected medical crisis has become overwhelming. We are currently facing significant economic hardship as we try to stay afloat while prioritizing our family’s health and healing.
We are asking for help to cover basic living expenses, medical-related costs, and to give our family the breathing room needed to recover without the constant fear of financial collapse. Any contribution, no matter the amount, means more than we can express. If you’re unable to give, we ask that you please consider sharing our story.
Thank you for standing with our family during this incredibly difficult season. Your support helps us focus on what matters most: healing, family, and moving forward one day at a time.
With gratitude,
Spencer & Haley
