In late December, the Nugent family received devastating news that no parent should ever have to hear. Their son, Ian, a dedicated Military Policeman with the United States Marine Corps, was shot in the head. Despite grim statistics indicating low survival rates for such injuries, Ian has defied the odds and shown miraculous progress, surpassing expectations for recovery.

This journey toward healing will include extesnsive therapies (PT, OT, SP and Neuro), for which the support from his parents, Rachelle and Jeff, is paramount. Since Ian landed in California from Japan, they have been faithfully devoted to him, accompanying him every step of the way.

The road ahead is daunting, both emotionally and financially. To continue, providing for, and supporting his needs, Rachelle and Jeff are facing significant financial strain. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference in their ability to remain by Ian's side and assist him on his path to recovery.
