Hello, we’re the Mitchells.

We’re a newly blended family of six — plus our lovable Goldendoodle — who have recently celebrated milestones like growing our family, graduating from school, and embracing the many blessings God has given us.

Unfortunately, a few months ago, a fire broke out in our home, while we were inside destroying the entire first floor and causing severe smoke damage to the second floor. While we lost many cherished belongings and memories, we are deeply grateful that we all made it out safely.

As my husband says, “We left with everything God wanted us to leave with.” That truth has kept us grounded, even in the toughest moments.

We were displaced and lived in a shelter until late March. Since then, we’ve begun the emotional and physical work of sorting through the ashes. It’s become clear just how much we’ve lost and how much rebuilding lies ahead.

That’s why we’re humbly asking for help from our friends, family, and community.

We know times are tough for many, so please don’t feel pressured to give. Whether it’s a monetary gift, a prayer, a kind message, or simply sharing our story. We are grateful for any support you're able to offer.
