The Claassen family is facing an unimaginable loss after their sweet 5-month-old son, Maclan ("Mac"), unexpectedly passed away in the hospital after complications from what appeared to be an intestinal infection.

Despite the tireless efforts of a dedicated medical team, Mac passed peacefully in the loving arms of his parents, Sally and Pete. Alongside big brother Marshall (3), they are now learning to navigate a future forever changed. They will wake each day remembering Mac's sweet smile, his remarkably calm and joyful spirit, and the profound love he brought into their lives. Though his time here was far too short, his impact will endure as their precious angel baby.
