On May 9th heaven gained another set of wings. Emiliano a loved skydiving instructor, mentor, friend, colleague, and husband passed in an unexpected freak accident while doing what he loved. Emiliano and his wife Sabina were always the life of the dropzone and would do anything for their friends who were all treated as family. From advise to telling stories or just general banter it was always smiles and fun times around these two. Emiliano is the guy that would teach you anything you wanted to know, pushed for the safety and learning of all and if you got hurt would sit in the hospital with you for hours with out ever saying a word about how big you messed up. His passion for the sport and the people around him was infectious. Emiliano and Sabina have impacted the lives of so many that I know of and countless more that I'm sure are telling stories of their memories around the world as we all mourn the loss of an amazing person. If you know Emiliano and Sabina you know that they would help you in a time of need. Unfortunately it's that time for them. With the impact of the pandemic in Italy and the loss of Emiliano I'm asking for the help of others during this difficult transition. A transition no one was prepared to make. Funeral cost, family expenses and the burden of life will continue to pile up as we all know and this is the smallest tribute I feel we can make for an amazing couple that would have done the same for any of us.

Il 9 maggio il cielo ha guadagnato un altro paio di ali. Emiliano, un amato istruttore di paracadutismo, mentore, amico, collega e marito, è morto in uno strano incidente inaspettato mentre faceva ciò che amava. Emiliano e sua moglie Sabina sono sempre stati la vita del dropzone e avrebbero fatto qualsiasi cosa per i loro amici che erano tutti trattati come una famiglia. Dai consigli al racconto di storie o solo alle battute generali, c'erano sempre sorrisi e momenti divertenti intorno a questi due. Emiliano è il ragazzo che ti insegnerebbe tutto ciò che volevi sapere, spinto per la sicurezza e l'apprendimento di tutti e se ti facessi male starebbe in ospedale con te per ore senza mai dire una parola su quanto sei grande incasinato. La sua passione per lo sport e per le persone intorno a lui era contagiosa. Emiliano e Sabina hanno influenzato la vita di così tanti che conosco e innumerevoli altri che sono sicuro stanno raccontando storie dei loro ricordi in tutto il mondo mentre tutti piangiamo la perdita di una persona straordinaria. Se conosci Emiliano e Sabina sai che ti aiuterebbero nel momento del bisogno. Purtroppo è arrivato il momento per loro. Con l'impatto della pandemia in Italia e la perdita di Emiliano chiedo l'aiuto degli altri durante questo difficile passaggio. Una transizione che nessuno era disposto a fare. Il costo del funerale, le spese familiari e il peso della vita continueranno ad accumularsi come tutti sappiamo e questo è il più piccolo tributo che sento di poter fare per una coppia straordinaria che avrebbe fatto lo stesso per chiunque di noi.
