Supporting the Lejeune’s: Love, Hope, and Community

This past weekend, Deter Lejeune suffered a traumatic brain injury. He is currently in the ICU in Vancouver, in an induced coma, receiving around the clock care from a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Deter, his wife Jessica, and their two children live in Colwood on Vancouver Island but they are now in Vancouver to be by his side. This unexpected and prolonged stay away from home brings immense emotional and financial strain.

Jessica is a dedicated volunteer in the JDF Lacrosse community, always giving her time and energy to support others. Deter has been a passionate member of the racing and hot rod communities. Now, they need our help.

Your donation will help ease the financial burden of travel, accommodations, and lost income, allowing Jessica and the kids to focus on Deter’s recovery without additional stress. Once he is stable enough to return to the island, his journey will continue, as he will need extensive therapy and rehabilitation, adding further financial and emotional challenges for the family.
