Hello, my name is Corliss Baskerville, and it is with deep sadness that I share the passing of my beloved husband, Deacon Silas Baskerville. He was not only my husband but also a devoted father, a faithful servant of God, and a proud U.S. Army veteran who served his country for 19 years as a First Class Sergeant.
Silas was a man of faith, discipline, and compassion. He touched so many lives through his service to the church and community, always offering a helping hand, a prayer, or a word of encouragement. His strength, humility, and love left a mark on everyone who knew him.
As I prepare to lay my husband to rest, I am facing the heavy financial burden of funeral and burial expenses. I am humbly asking for support from family, friends, and our community to help give him the honorable homegoing celebration he deserves, both as a man of God and a veteran.
How the Funds Will Be Used
• Funeral home services and arrangements
• Burial and cemetery expenses (with military honors)
• Memorial service at our church
• Family support during this time of transition
Every contribution, no matter the amount, will make a difference. Your gift will not only help ease this financial burden but will also honor Silas’s legacy of service, love, and faith.
If Silas has touched your life in any way, please consider donating and sharing this campaign. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your love, generosity, and prayers.
With gratitude,
Corliss Baskerville
