Urgent Funeral Fundraiser for Thomas R. King
May 6, 1955 – May 28, 2025
On May 28, 2025, my father, Thomas R. King, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of service, love, and dedication to his family and community. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force and Michigan Army National Guard, Tom dedicated his life to helping others, both in his military service and as Iron County’s animal control officer. He loved the outdoors, spending his best moments hunting, fishing, and enjoying nature.
His sudden passing has not only brought overwhelming grief but also placed our family in dire financial hardship. Most of our household income relied on his VA benefits and Social Security, and without them, we are struggling to cover funeral expenses and the costs of moving forward.
We are reaching out in hopes that friends, family, and kind hearts can help us during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution will go toward funeral expenses and supporting our family as we navigate this loss. Your generosity and kindness mean the world to us.
