Hi there, I'm Suzie Blackman, and my husband, Max, and our daughter, Tilly, are putting together this GoFundMe to aid in raising funds for our dear family friends, Courtney and Kennedy, who suddenly and tragically lost their husband and dad, respectively, Brad Jones (37), on Saturday, July 18, 2026, when he collapsed .6 miles from the finish line of the Eiger Ultra Marathon 35K race in Grindelwald, Switzerland. To say we are all devastated is an understatement. Brad was an incredible father, a wonderfully loving husband and best friend to Courtney, a son, a brother, an uncle, and a friend. He worked as a paralegal for his parents' law firm in Winston-Salem, NC. He also worked as a Spin, HIIT, and Strength Coach at my studio and was loved, known, and cherished in the Winston-Salem fitness community.

In his loving memory, a college fund has been put in place for he and Courtney's 7-year-old daughter, Kennedy (who is also a very sweet friend of our daughter, Tilly).
