Rally For Mason Hobelmann

Hi my name is April and I am fundraising for the Hobelmann Family in hopes to help them with enough to allow them to solely focus on their sweet sweet baby boy as hes facing a very big procedure where they will have to remove the back portion of his skull. Megan is the homemaker and Andrews employer will not be paying him for his time off that is needed. He will be missing at best a week and a half of work and they will have zero income. I cant even imagine the financial heartache that this precious family of 5  will be facing, and If we can do anything at all to at least take some of that burden off of them that is my goal! Money will be going to help with the travel expenses, hotel stay the first night, meals while they are in Little Rock for the week and the families personal bills back home

 

Mason turned one in August and he has a premature closure of his lambnoid suture on the right side of his head. Which means his skull is already fused together on the back right side where it shouldn't be. He will have to have surgery to have his skull cut back open so the skull and brain can grow properly and without restrictions. This procedure will be called a Cranial Vault Remolding. They will cut him from ear to ear remove the back plate from the skull and reconstruct it and put it back with dissolvable plates and screws. The surgery will be roughly 4-6 hours and he will be in the hospital for at least 3 to 5 days following the surgery. Andrew and Megan will be in Little Rock for at least a week and as we all know that will be very costly on the family.

 

Please if there is anything that you can do to help this family through this tough time that would be amazing. This family is nothing but amazing and would do anything for anyone, lets band together and help them. If you can't help financially please share and continue to keep this sweet family in your prayers. His surgery is Set for October 13th. All funds will be going directly to the family .
