Supporting the Hernandez Family Through Unimaginable Loss

Last weekend, we came together at our home to celebrate the upcoming arrival of Dwight and Mykeyly’s baby girl, anticipating her joyful presence in their growing family. This pregnancy had already been filled with ups and downs, moments of hope, and heartbreak. But tragically, this morning, Mykeyly went to the hospital after noticing she could no longer feel the baby move, and their worst fears were confirmed—they had lost their baby girl.

The pain of this loss is indescribable. As a community, we believe it is our calling to surround Dwight, Mykeyly, and their son Roman with love, support, and provision during this heartbreaking time.

In addition to Family Church providing for them, we are inviting friends and family to contribute toward alleviating any financial burden associated with this loss. These funds will help cover memorial and farewell costs, medical bills, time off for Dwight to care for his family, and other unexpected expenses. Our goal is to give them the space and time to grieve without the added stress of practical financial concerns.

This is an opportunity for all of us to stand in the gap for them, to be the hands and feet of Christ during their darkest hour. Your contributions—whether large or small—will remind them that they are not alone and that their community is walking beside them every step of the way.
