Hello friends and family of Michelle and Heath -- As you may know Heath has been in the hospital since Nov 24th battling complications from Covid-19. Heath is continuing his fight every single day. Currently he is sedated and his lungs are receiving assistance from a ventilator. On Dec 11th he was removed from isolation and Michelle has been able to be by his side during limited visiting hours.
Dec 11th Facebook post from Michelle:
"Got to spend a lot of the day with my love! ❤️ It was good to be with him. It has been 17 days since we were last together, and it made me think were we ever apart that long in our 17 years of marriage? And you know what? We’ve never been separated from each other that long (that I can recall), and I hope to never be again. ❤️
Health wise, his nurse, Dave, said it best (without all the medical jargon) that’s he’s in a holding pattern. Not much change either way. It is likely he will be on a ventilator for at least a few weeks. We’re holding onto slow gradual progress to rest his body and let it heal. Thanks again for all your prayers and warrior vibes! It has supported our family so much through this! ❤️❤️❤️❤️"

Whether it's showing up at a gathering with tasty treats and beverages (sometimes even putting on a whole meeting/shindig) or turning up in the middle of a storm to help make sure one's basic needs for heat are met, Heath and Michelle show up for us with friendship, love, and the appropriate tool/gadget/knife to stand shoulder to shoulder with us in support to help solve anything life presents.
