Our names are Jason and Brandi Mattingly and we are family friends of Sharon, Shayna, and Sheldon Hall. We are reaching out to ask for urgent support for Shayna and Sheldon following a devastating, unimaginable tragedy. On November 4th, 2025, Shayna and Sheldon's father, Louisnes "Lou" Fedon, and their young niece, Kimberly Asa, tragically lost their lives in the UPS plane crash in Louisville, Kentucky.

​The Role Lou Played in Their Lives

In a shocking twist of fate, Lou and his granddaughter were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time, becoming victims of this catastrophic and unforeseen accident. ​His death has created a sudden and immense void that goes far beyond emotional grief. For teenagers Shayna and Sheldon, Lou was a major lifeline and support system:

• ​Essential Transportation: He was the main source of transportation, driving from Louisville, KY to New Albany, IN every single school day, morning and afternoon. He also drove them to and from numerous monthly doctors' appointments.

• ​Critical Basic Needs: Lou covered essential services that are now at risk, such as their cell phone service and other vital daily expenses many of us take for granted.

​We are asking for the community's help to stabilize their lives during this devastating time. Your generous donation will go directly to Shayna and Sheldon's mother, Sharon Hall, to cover two critical areas:
