Our community is heartbroken by the sudden and devastating loss of Edward Gillin. Ed's passing has left an immeasurable void in the lives of all who knew and loved him. As his family navigates this difficult chapter, many friends and loved ones have reached out with the same question: "How can we help?"

While being present for the Gillin family is most important, this fundraiser is an opportunity for our community to come together and provide practical support for the Gillin family as they navigate the days, weeks, months, and years ahead. Our hope is that this financial support will give them added peace of mind and the flexibility to focus on healing, supporting one another, and honoring Ed's memory.

All funds raised will go directly toward supporting Ed's four children, helping to provide the educational opportunities that Ed had dreamed for them. Funds may also help ease everyday expenses and provide additional stability as the family adjusts to this unexpected loss.

Ed touched countless lives through his generosity, kindness, friendship, and unwavering willingness to help others. He was always willing to help, as a board member and volunteer with Avon Grove Wildcats Football, Lacrosse and Field Hockey, coach with Avon Grove Little League, or simply a constant supporter from the home bleachers! The impact Ed made on family, friends, coworkers, and his community will not be forgotten.

Now we have an opportunity to surround the Gillin family with the same compassion, encouragement, and support that Ed so readily extended to others throughout his life. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference and help ensure that Bri, Will, Kate, and Luke continue to have access to the opportunities and experiences that were so important to Ed.
