It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden loss of a beloved daughter, granddaughter, niece, sister, student, and friend – Natalie Fondriest.

Loss is always painful, but the loss of a child carries a sorrow that words can never fully capture.

The Fondriest family has long been a cherished part of the Bay Village community. To know them is to love them, and if you didn’t know Natalie personally, know this – Natalie’s personality was magnetic. She had a smile so vibrant that it could turn anyone’s day around. Natalie found joy in the little things in life like swinging at the park, listening to Bohemian Rhapsody or The Beatles, going to the beach, or indulging in a sweet treat. She was an “on-the-go” gal, participating in activities like dance, cheer, swimming, cardio drumming, and so much more. It’s these experiences that made her so involved in the Bay Village community and beyond.

While this void is deep, Natalie is not far because she is in our hearts forever. And while this grief is overwhelming for many, perhaps we must remember that letting it be also means allowing ourselves to believe that this pain is not meaningless, that it reflects a bond and connection that cannot be undone, and a love that continues, even in absence.
