Supporting the Family of Warren Hillier

Donation protected
The outreach of support has been so loving and this campaign is an opportunity to extend the support for Michele and Hudson. Funds will be helpful as they make funeral arrangements, ongoing care and education funds for Hudson and gift them time to be together and grieve without financial burdens. We understand Covid has created financial stress for many, so sharing this campaign is even a large support. Thank you for your generosity.

Below is the public statement given to St. Albert Fire Services:

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our member Warren Hillier. Warren is a beloved spouse, father, brother, son, friend and member of the Military and St Albert Firefighter’s families.

This loss highlights the importance of speaking about mental health. Warren joined our Peer Support Team because he wanted to make improvements in this area for his firefighter family.

Warren himself struggled with mental health and chose to end his struggles on his terms. He felt there was no way for him to recover back to the amazing man others know him as.

Please lean on your fellow members and the Peer Support Teams if you are finding this event challenging or any other challenges in life. Know that you are loved and surrounded by support just like Warren and his family Michele and Hudson are now.
