On behalf of Melissa's beloved husband Keith and son Tommy, we are asking for any kind of donation to help support them during this difficult time.

In the early morning of August 20, Melissa passed away in her home. She has been living as a quadriplegic for 15 years, and throughout that time remained in a committed marriage intent on living a life full of love and positivity. Keith Anderson was the sole caregiver to his wife and he has been out of the regular job market for 15 years. He will be able to work, but it will take a little while to get back into the job market. He and his son live in a house that Keith and his wife were purchasing and they will need help with the mortgage payments until he can get back on his feet. Any prayers and support just by sharing this fundraiser will be sincerely appreciated.

Keith and Melissa recently shared their wedding anniversary on August 1st, this was Melissa's loving post:

Happy 37th Anniversary to the best thing that ever happened to me. We were only babies at 19, though we thought we weren’t. Many thought we wouldn’t make it, but we have and will keep living as husband & wife, & as best friends until Jesus comes to redeem us. Oh, what a day of rejoicing that will be!

We took our vows before God seriously, especially in sickness and health. Not only are you a carpenter by trade, but now you’ve become a nurse by default, and the best one I’ve had thus far. You don’t work 8 or 12-hour shifts, but yours are 24/7. As you always say, “I didn’t get the trade-in warranty.”

Your crown in heaven will be heavy with all the jewels it will bestow upon it. You are the embodiment of Corinthians 13 (the love chapter).

"Melissa loved and prayed for everyone! She was a true prayer warrior and had a beautiful relationship with Jesus. I am so thankful her suffering is over. But we appreciate all the prayers available! There is a hole in our lives that will never be filled, and I’m thankful that we had such a wonderful marriage and friendship. God has been very.. very good to us!"
