Supporting the Family of Matthew Pixley

On behalf of the Volta team and W-Industries family, we are deeply saddened to share the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Matthew Edwin Pixley, who passed away on September 21, 2025, at just 32 years old.

Matthew was a valued member of the Volta team and a man of quiet strength, unwavering integrity, and genuine kindness. He brought not only skill and dedication to his work, but also warmth and light to those around him. His loss leaves a profound void in our workplace and in our hearts. More importantly, Matthew was a devoted husband to Timbre Pixley and a loving father to their two beautiful daughters, Whitley and Kinsley. His family was his everything — the center of his world and the source of his greatest joy.

How You Can Help

In the wake of this unimaginable loss, we are rallying together to support the Pixley family with funeral expenses and to help ease the financial burden as they navigate life without their beloved Matthew. This GoFundMe has been created by Volta, a W-Industries Company, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to Matthew’s wife, Timbre Pixley, and their daughters.

Remembering Matthew

Though naturally quiet, Matthew’s humor and warmth made him the life of the party. His presence was comforting, his spirit contagious, and his love for others undeniable.
