On Sunday, March 17th, my son-in-love, Jonathan “Jon” Blackerby was involved in a motorcycle accident and passed away the following day as a result of his injuries. He leaves behind his wife – my daughter Tyler – and two small children, Zachary (3) and Hazel (1).

Many have reached out and expressed wanting to assist the Tyler and the kids, prompting me, with Tyler's approval, to create this fundraiser. We are so grateful for your continued thoughts and prayers for the entire Blackerby family during this difficult time.

Jon worked hard to provide for his family and loved his job at CMC as a welder. He and Tyler had just signed a contract to purchase their first home two weeks prior to his death and had finished moving in the day before his accident.

Tyler is now dealing with the financial burden of losing Jon. She had been a stay-at-home mom and Jon was the sole breadwinner. She is unable to afford to remain in their new home and pay to have two kids in daycare along with all of their other expenses.

Your contributions will directly assist in helping her and the kids find a less expensive place to live, deposits for utilities, daycare and other expenses while she looks for a job. All funds will be deposited in an account for Tyler.
