Supporting the family of JaQai Garrett

On Friday September 18, 2020,  16 year old JaQai's life was taken after being killed in a tragic car accident while as a passenger while riding home with friends. JaQai was a student/basketball player at Oak Park High School and he was looking forward to celebrating his 17th birthday which is September 25th.   JaQai is described as a loving and respectful young man.  He was an athlete, mentor to young basketball players who looked up to him.  JaQai was musically talented and a honor roll student at Ecorse High School last year. JaQai will be remembered by his loving mother, father, siblings, grandmother, grandfather, and many family members who will miss him very much.
