Supporting the family of Crystal Recollet

Aanii-boozhoo kina wayaa, I am reaching out to our community, to request assistance on behalf of family; sadly it has been announced that Crystal has been called home, making her Grand Entry into the Western Doorway. After a short time dancing here in this life, surrounded by all of her family and loved ones, she succumbed to heart failure on Oct. 2, 2021. Crystal was originally from Wiikwemikoong on Manidoo Munising, she lived in Etobicoke with her husband Johnathon, was a Mom to her Wassnodeh and Justice, a sister to Tracy, Holly, Rheal, Freedom, Hawley and Kristy, auntie and cousin to many, and a loving daughter of Viola and Freddie ba. Many knew of her because of her love for dancing and travelling, making her way around many parts of Turtle Island to powwow. I am hoping you can assist in helping the family in this fundraiser, to send her home to our community where family and friends will send her through ceremony, back to the Creator. The funds raised will also assist her husband and her children in the coming time. The extended family, community and her immediate loved ones say chi-miigwech for your support and messages received.
