Supporting Arden’s Family in Their Time of Loss

It is with heavy hearts that we reach out to ask for support for a family who would never normally ask for help. Our beloved Arden left us unexpectedly on March 5 at just 20 years old, leaving behind a family and community who loved him deeply.

Arden had a way of connecting with people wherever he went. In the days since his passing, countless stories have been shared by friends, neighbours, and community members whose lives he touched. Many remember meeting Arden at local fishing spots, sharing conversations and laughs, or seeing his kindness firsthand while he worked with kids down at the Wibit during the summer months. Hearing these memories has been a great comfort to the family and a reminder of the positive impact Arden had on so many people in such a short time.

While many of us are fortunate enough to never experience the unimaginable loss of a child, that is the heartbreaking reality this family is now facing. During this incredibly difficult time, Arden's mom and sisters need the space to grieve together and support one another as they navigate life without Arden.

We are asking for the community’s support to help ease the financial burden of everyday living expenses while the family takes the time they need to heal. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help provide them with the stability and breathing room to focus on being together and remembering Arden.
