With the unexpected passing of Sean Coughlin, we are broken-hearted for the Coughlin Family.
Originally from Philadelphia, Sean moved to California 12 years ago and fell in love with the state and its incredible national parks. He was a passionate environmentalist, taking steps in his everyday life to keep his city clean- including participating in volunteer programs such as the LA River Clean-Up. Sean worked as a video game producer at Disney for 7 years, where he helped make magic and cultivated strong friendships with his work family. Sean’s loved ones span the globe- from Taiwan to Ireland and Russia, his legacy is far-reaching and deeply felt.
The following words were shared by Natasha, his partner of 12 years-
On Wednesday, October 28th my soulmate and best friend, Sean Coughlin passed away unexpectedly from reasons still unknown. We are absolutely devastated, shocked, confused, and completely heartbroken. Sean was the most incredible father and supportive, loving, and equal partner- my true other half. I feel like a part of me is missing, and I can see how our beautiful babies are struggling with the sudden loss of their most favorite person in the world. As broken as I am feeling right now, I’m still so, so grateful to have been loved by Sean, and even more grateful that my children had his whole heart while he was with us.
The funds raised will go to Natasha and their two young children, Aero and Ames, to be used for funeral costs as well as various living expenses, including an education fund for the children.
