Supporting the Combs Family

Hello my name is Julia Combs, Skipp's middle child and I am setting up this Go Fund Me to support our family through these trying times. On August 8th. My two younger siblings Gabriel (10 years old) and Aurora (5 years old) found their mother unresponsive. My brother Gabriel called 911 and I was then brought to the scene. It seems both my siblings were with her potentially a whole 24 hours after she had passed before they realized, since our dad had recently been taken to the hospital via ambulance on the 5th, (a day before his birthday) he had no idea. He is currently in the Critical Care Unit at Advent Health North Pinellas with Covid-19 and also fighting brain cancer, and due to the state of this pandemic he is in an isolation chamber on a ventilator and has to be constantly sedated to keep him stable and breathing. So we unfortunately cannot see or speak to him. I am now the guardian of my two siblings and they are currently living with me in my apartment. Our goal is to raise money to stabilize the current uproar of our lives, and get us into a proper sized home for my siblings and my boyfriend and I and to help financially stabilize us as a family, my father will potentially need to live in an assisted living facility. As this has potentially disabled him for life will need to be on a ventilator, with need of an in home nurse. My father's deli has unfortunately been shut down due to lack of funds I'm currently in the process of trying to pay the employees and my brother that was attempting to run the establishment. My father's house will also need to be given back to the landlord as it is a fixer upper that was never fixed and is not a safe and stable environment to go back to for either my father or my siblings. Right now anything will help, my own vehicle just broke down a few days ago and is currently in the shop. Our goal is to pay my fathers debts and have a stable environment for him when he hopefully gets out of the hospital as well as save to get into a home with plenty of space, their mother recently adopted two kittens for my siblings since the family cat just passed, so we are trying to get them to a vet as soon as possible. As well as save for two stable working vehicles. I will potentially have to go to court for a conservatorship to help properly make arrangements for my fathers financial decisions. I will be saving for any potential legal costs as well as medical bills. So really anything helps and we appreciate all the support Thank you.
