I feel very vulnerable asking for help but I've had numerous people reach out to me and ask what they can do and I am overwhelmed. As you know my father passed away suddenly on July 27, leaving the family heartbroken. Not only am I grieving my father, but I am also preparing to say goodbye to my childhood home. This means I will have to be traveling back and forth from LA to SC on multiple occasions. In lieu of flowers, I would appreciate any donations that can assist with things like plane flights, Ubers, gas, car rentals, food, hotels, childcare, and shipping costs to mail sentimental items back to CA. My sister and I will also have to continue to pay for my dad's mortgage and utilities until we can get the house ready to sell and this could take several months. Because our family was not prepared for these expenses during this difficult time, we are reaching out to the community for help.
