Supporting the Carey Family

Relatives and friends are invited to greet Dwayne's family Tuesday, April 18, 2023, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church West 230 West Coulter Street Philadelphia, PA 19144. A Service to Celebrate his Homegoing will be held 10:00 am at the church. Following services Dwyane will be laid to rest in West Laurel Hill Cemetery.

The family requests that you bring a Philadelphia Eagles or Sixers hat, jersey, shirt, scarf, jacket to wear at the interment to honor Wayne’s love of hometown and Philly Sports Teams. Loved ones can also wear FAMU gear as Wayne was a FAMU Rattler for Life!

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Wayne Carey due to health complications. Wayne leaves behind his four children, Arthur, Khari, Brooke, and Christina, and his loving wife, Cindy.

Wayne was a pillar of strength and love for his family. His guidance and wisdom were invaluable, always teaching his children the importance of hard work, dedication, and kindness.

He was a role model to all who knew him, and his legacy will live on through his children. Though he may be gone, his love and memories will always remain in the hearts of his loved ones.

In honor of Wayne’s memory, we are raising funds to support his grieving family during this difficult time. As a devoted husband and father, he always put the needs of his family before his own. Now, it's our turn to support his family in their time of need.

We are reaching out to our community to help us provide support and financial assistance to the Carey family to help with the unexpected expenses that come with losing a loved one. Any amount, no matter how small, can make a difference in their lives.
