Matt shared the following on behalf of our beautiful Naomi recently -

Dear Friends and Family,

It is with a heavy and broken heart that I share the news that Naomi Callender went home to be with Jesus.

After nearly three years of battling cancer for the second time, Naomi's body had finally had enough. She faced every step of it with strength, grace, and unwavering faith. Her body grew weary, but her spirit remained strong, always contending for her healing.

Naomi truly embodied Proverbs 31:25 "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come."

Even in her hardest moments, she radiated light and love. Her life was a testimony of gentle faith, fierce devotion, and a heart anchored in Jesus.

She was the best wife and mother we could have ever asked for. I miss her more than words can express, and our two boys feel her absence deeply. The love she poured into our family is woven into every part of our lives — and though she's no longer here physically, her presence and legacy remain with us in powerful and beautiful ways.

We grieve with broken hearts, but not without hope. We take comfort in knowing she is now whole and fully alive in the presence of Jesus, who she loved and trusted through it all.

We invite all who knew and loved Naomi to join us in honoring her life.

Our desire is that they would be able to celebrate and remember Naomi well and without debt or worry about finances.

Many have asked about the financial needs for Matt and the boys at this time and we would like to share those here, and give an opportunity for people to give toward the memorial costs for Naomi, and also a trip at some point in the future for Matt and the boys to have a chance to spend time with Naomi’s family in Australia.

Any excess funds will be put into a future fund for the boys, a gift for them in their mum’s name.
