Supporting The Bueschkens' Family through Cancer

Donation protected
2020 has been a difficult year for everyone.

But there are some people who have felt the compounding events much more.
For The Bueschkens' family, it’s been a long and hard 5 year battle with cancer.
5 years ago Will and Michelle welcomed their second born, Dylan into the world. But their joy was quickly taken from them a week later when Michelle was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer.

Michelle would then endure multiple rounds of chemo therapy and radiation to prolong her life. Needless to say, the treatment was hard on the entire family.

Being the strong people they are and surrounded by the love and support of their extended family, Michelle would carry on with multiple treatments and life style changes that had given her some level of normalcy for a short time. All of which took an emotional and financial toll.

But the cancer became too aggressive, evading all of the treatments and the world lost a loving mother, wife, daughter and friend.

The Bueschkens' family are the most genuine, kind and caring people that can be imagined. Through this battle, they have cared for their children, supporting their extra curricular activities including rep softball and soccer.

Will, a Canadian airforce veteran has continued to work long hours as a power line technician, including storm response and travelling out of town to restore power for thousands of Canadians. All the while bringing his genuinely light and positive attitude, work ethic and leadership every day without fail.

This has been made possible with the help of Michelle’s parents and unfortunately, Michelle’s father was also diagnosed with cancer in the fall. Will has since been unable to return to work as he cares for his children.

This is a family that would never be able to bring themselves to ask for help, but many people within the community have asked how they can help and this fund is a way that we all can.

Your support is greatly appreciated
