Joseph Keith Aman was born on April 28, 1988. While he spent much of his adult life living in different countries and states, he was a Michigan boy through and through, often draped in flannels and fleece-lined jeans. Joe always fully showed up as himself no matter the occasion. He brought so much lightness, laughter, and silliness everywhere he went.

Joe confidently yet humbly believed he could do anything, from trekking through the Himalayas to free diving under ice. He believed in other people as deeply as he believed in himself, encouraging them to trust in their abilities and discover what they were capable of.

On Wednesday, January 28, 2026, his life was tragically and needlessly taken away from him and all of us who loved and cared for him in a senseless act of gun violence.

This GoFundMe has been created to help cover funeral and memorial expenses, as well as other costs associated with Joe’s sudden loss. All funds raised will go directly to supporting the Aman ‘ohana during this incredibly difficult time.

Please know that your love and aloha for the Aman ‘ohana are just as meaningful and showing up and showering them with love and kindness means more than words can say.
