On May 3rd, 2018 my step father (Richard Alexander)  recieved his 2nd gift of life, a Kidney! After 6 long years after losing his kidney function due to his heart transplant he recieved a healthy Kidney at UPMC Montefiore in Pittsburgh, Pa. Due to having to stay in Pittsburgh for approximately 1 month or more, the cost of housing, groceries, medical bills, transportation, and of course daily bills they still have back home in Hummelstown, Pa, I (Brittany Jones) have decided to start this page to help them out. *they wont be happy with me lol*
Currently we are staying at the Family Place, which is a home for people that have frequent medical appointments or family members in the hospital. It cost $70.00 per night. They provide a full kitchen, a laundry room, comfortable rooms with private bathrooms and a shuttle to and from the hospital. We have been very blessed by this place and they have taken care of us wonderfully. 
I dont want my parents to have to worry about finances when they both need to focus on their health. ( My mom also had her 4th knee replacement on 4/24/18 and was hospitalized 24 hours after Richs Kidney transplant)
