Supporting the Buck-Tislam Joyner Family

Hi, my name is Barbara Nye, and I am fundraising for my friend, Tislam Joyner and his wife.

Tislam was having headaches with increasing frequency. He went to UVA hospital for a CT scan and MRI and a very large cancerous tumor was found. In July of this year he had brain surgery, successfully removing 90% of the tumor. However he was diagnosed with Glioblastoma cancer. The doctors told him with radiation and chemotherapy Tislam had a 25% chance to be alive in 5 years. Tislam just turned 50 years old.

He has finished his radiation and now is at home doing chemotherapy.

With only one income and his wife having to take leave for part of the treatment they are in need of help to pay bills, buy gas and food.
