Hi everyone,
We are reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to ask for support for our beloved niece, Tara Parsons, who is courageously fighting stage IV cancer at just 42 years old. Tara’s world was turned upside down this year. In January, she suffered the unimaginable loss of her husband in a tragic accident, leaving her suddenly widowed. As she was still grieving and trying to hold her life together, she received a devastating cancer diagnosis in August.
Tara has since undergone a radical hysterectomy, including the removal of her uterus, cervix, and ovaries. Despite this, the cancer has spread to her lymph nodes in her abdomen and neck, as well as her liver. She is now undergoing aggressive chemotherapy and radiation simultaneously, and doctors are hitting the cancer hard because of her young age and strength. The treatments are taking a significant toll on her body. On top of overwhelming medical bills, Tara has also been forced into a short sale of her home, adding financial stress to an already heartbreaking situation.
No one should have to endure this much loss, pain, and uncertainty all at once. Tara is strong, brave, and fighting with everything she has—but she cannot do this alone. We are asking for help to ease the financial burden so Tara can focus on what matters most: healing, resting, and surviving.
