Supporting Tanisha's Battle with Leukemia

Many times in life you meet people along the way that just leaves their mark, and no matter where life takes you, there's always part of you that remember certain things about the person, the fun times, the great conversations, the few struggles you had to face together, or whatever that may be; all of which somehow stay in your memory& in your heart. Those memories are usually what makes me be thankful for having met a person...a friend.

Tanisha Gutierrez is one of those people that I met that has left that mark. I consider her my work family, & my friend ❤

I met Tanisha as one of our PCA(patient care assistant) awhile back while working as a nurse in the Neuro ICU.

Everyone who has met her knows that she is such a hard worker. She's feisty, yet very caring. She's one of the most passionate individual and nurse assistant I've met. She will share her true and honest opinion on a matter, which is what made me trust and respect her as a person. But above all, Tanisha is an amazing mom to her two girls. It's not easy being a single mom, but if anyone can do it well,it's definitely her. She is an awesome daughter, and the right hand to her mom Alberta Begay.

Last week Tanisha' world was turned upside down when she got diagnosed with B cell ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia). She is currently being treated with chemo everyday via IV, and via Lumbar punture.

Ive always known Tanisha as a very strong person, however, seeing her weak at the hospital made me want to help in whatever way possible. Tanisha is part of our work family, and right now she needs us more than ever. If you can donate to this fund, I'm sure it will at least lessen some stress that she and her family is dealing with.
