We are devastated to share the sudden and tragic loss of our beloved family member, Susie, who was taken from us far too soon after being killed by a drunk driver. This unimaginable loss has left her son and daughter grieving while also facing unexpected financial burdens.

A devoted single mother, Susie was a steady source of support for her children. She shared an apartment with her son, and helped support her daughter who recently graduated from college. Both are young adults now unexpectedly tasked with paying rent and living expenses without her, on top of funeral expenses that will be incurred.

As a family, we are raising funds to provide them with urgent support for these expenses so they can focus on processing this loss without the immediate financial stress during this incredibly difficult transition.

Susie was vibrant, full of life, and effortlessly funny and witty, often the joyful center of every family gathering. She was deeply devoted to her children and her family, who were the foundation of her life and closest friends. She will be so deeply missed by us all.
