Supporting Stevie's Family in their time of Loss

Hello everyone,

My name is Liv. I was with Steve Martinez for 4 years and after we separated, we remained very close friends. I'm still very close to many of his family. Steve will always and forever be the bright light in the room even in heaven. I started this go fund me to help his family with expenses for his funeral and ceremony. Along with to give his family the support they deserve so they can grieve the loss of such an amazing soul.

Anyone that knew Stevie knew how he had the most infectious energy. If he came into a room and he was happy you felt it, and if he wasn't happy, well you felt that too. His presence and smile organically caused others to smile. If you were having a bad day, he had this magical way of being able to calm you down and make you feel safe and okay. He had the biggest heart. <3 He would constantly give to the homeless and anyone he loved that was in a bad place, he wanted to help. A spitfire that one, all in the same vessel. He had this charismatic but also masculine energy and when he set his mind to it by God he would do it! He loved his family dearly. This man inspired me to be sober when we met. He made me want to love myself more and fight harder than I had ever fought before. His drive and motivation were something I looked up to he could work all day in the beating sun throwing fence panels at 80+ hours a week and still did not miss the gym. He would set goals and always hit them. For 3 years straight Monday-Friday we were at the gym at 4:00 a.m. and seen each other off to work. He loved fishing, rap music, nice cars, nice shoes, washing his car on the weekend and we traveled alot. Swag was this man's MO and anyone that knew him always knew he had style from little on. He is a giver at heart. He loooooooved shopping one of his favorite things was shopping sprees but, don't be surprised that a plethora of outfits sat in the closet on ice with fresh tags years later.

He loved his family, and his family loved him. <3

Anything you can give helps his family and is going towards the arrangements of a man that's had so much purpose and has spread so much love and light to others. Please share this post to your family and friends. There will be a vigil to come together as one for Stevie on Wednesday October 29th on 17th and Grove St in Denver, CO. His sister Tara will be helping me update this post. Funeral arrangements are also being made this week, and we will post that date when we know.
