Supporting Steve in his fight

My name is Nellie and I am  starting this page to raise money on behalf of a wonderful guy I work with named Steve Geak. He has been an engineer where I work for decades, and is a very kind soul.
As a few of you have heard, Steve went to the dentist a few weeks back after being unable to go since the COVID outbreak began. When he finally got in for an appointment,  the dentist  immediately noticed one tonsil was about 3x bigger than the other. He advised Steve to go to the doctor immediately, who eventually confirmed it was throat cancer. The cancer has spread to Steve’s lymph nodes. He is having to go through rigorous sessions of radiation and chemotherapy each week. I cannot imagine having to go through this painful, overwhelming, and scary time over the holidays, and wonder how you’re going to pay the medical bills. It’s so hard to ask for help but I think Steve really needs some from us right now.  If you are able, please donate any amount you can to help Steve bear the financial burden of cancer. We can show Steve his work family stands behind him, appreciates the work he’s done and continues to do, and that we support him in his time of need.
