Supporting Stephanie’s Cancer Journey
“Cancer may have started the fight, but we are here to help her finish it!”
Our very dear friend Stephanie is 43 years old and was recently diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. For those of you that know her, as a family member, close friend, or teacher, she is an extraordinary human being. She is selfless, caring, kind, unbelievably strong, determined and has a beautiful soul.
The last week has been a whirlwind of appointments, tests, procedures and it’s just the start of her long journey. The next step in her journey is 4 months of aggressive chemotherapy, starting May 18, followed by weeks of radiation and then multiple surgeries.
Because of this she is unable to work and her ability to return to work anytime soon is unknown. Unfortunately, disability pay does not provide full pay and most of her medical expenses are not covered. In the past week alone she has accumulated thousands of dollars in medical expenses not covered by her insurance. With the everyday necessities of life, money is getting tighter and tighter.
Stephanie is a devoted mother who always puts her babies, Jolie and Nolan first. As a mother, friend, and teacher she is always there to give her love and support to others. Now it’s time we send back some of that love and support to Stephanie. While her strong faith brings her peace and comfort, she still needs our help to get her through this difficult time in her life. Everything we can do to help ease this burden is crucial so that she can focus on beating this thing! Anything you can donate will be truly appreciated. Please also help us spread the word and thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
