Sophi is a professional in the field of mental health who this Spring will be getting breast augmentation as gender affirming surgery. This is a huge deal and a big dream for Sophi! The good news is that thanks to Sophi's job with NYS, her insurance will be covering most expenses for the procedures.

However, the recovery process will take several weeks, which will keep Sophi out of work. She has some sick leave and accruals with her job, however being completely out of work for almost a month will exhaust these and savings quickly.
