Supporting Sophie’s IVF Journey to Parenthood

Donation protected
Sophie is more than a colleague — she is a friend, a constant source of happiness, and someone who brings warmth and dedication into our workplace every single day.

Anyone who works with Sophie knows her compassion, her resilience, and the strength she shows even during the hardest moments.

For some time now, Sophie has been on a deeply personal and emotional journey to become a parent. After trying tirelessly to conceive, she made the brave decision to pursue IVF — a process that requires immense emotional strength and comes with a significant financial cost. Sadly, her first round of IVF was unsuccessful, and her test came back negative. It was a heart breaking setback, but one she has faced with courage and grace.

IVF treatment is expensive, and each round places enormous strain on those going through it. As Sophie’s colleagues, friends, and the wider team who work alongside her every day — from office staff to our cleaning team and everyone in between — we wanted to come together and show her that she is not facing this journey alone.

To support Sophie and help ease the financial burden of further IVF treatment, a group of us are taking on a sponsored walk by climbing Ingleborough Peak, one of the Yorkshire Three Peaks on Saturday 7th March.

The girls taking part in this walk are not experienced climbers — this is completely outside of our comfort zones. We are doing this for one reason only: to support a very special person who means so much to us all.

We have chosen to take on this challenge in March, when the weather is colder and conditions are tougher, to make it not only a physical challenge but a mental one too. It reflects the resilience, determination, and strength Sophie continues to show throughout her journey.

Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards helping Sophie continue her IVF journey and bringing her one step closer to the family she dreams of. Your support means more than words can express — it is a reminder that compassion, community, and kindness truly do make a difference.

Thank you for reading Sophie’s story, for supporting our climb, and for standing with her every step of the way.
