Supporting Sofia & Her Family During Tough Times

On 10/31, our cousin Sofia was hospitalized due to a serious case of mononucleosis and strep requiring her to be intubated and closely monitored in the ICU. Since then, she has been transferred via airlift to the University of Pennsylvania Hospital to undergo further medical treatment and her mom has taken an unpaid family leave from work to be with her during this time.

To say these last few weeks have been a challenge for them, both physically and emotionally, would be an understatement. This unexpected challenging time has brought on financial stress, including unplanned medical bills, travel expenses, and a complete loss of income during this time, so we are looking to our community to help support Sofia and her mom.

Our hope with this campaign is to raise money to help alleviate some of the financial strain on Sofia’s family. Any donation, no matter how much, is greatly appreciated!
