Jamlis Web came about when a content writer and a web developer got together to question why custom-coded, premium websites were so expensive when they were of the utmost important to businesses of all size. After investigating how the process could become more efficient, removing any unnecessary time, labour and costs, we realised it simply doesn’t have to be this way.

There are on average 800,000 new businesses incorporated in the United Kingdom every year and of this number only 25% of founders come from lower-socioeconomic backgrounds and one of the main reasons for this is the upfront costs they often encounter. With about 56% of the UK population identifying as working class, it is clear there is still a stark and unjust disparity highlighting how opportunity is still tied to privilege more than potential.

We believe everybody should have the chance to grow, develop and shine, and they should not be left behind simply because competitors can flex financial muscle in those important early years.

Two Entrepreneurs. One Product. Very Different Paths.

Alex and Jordan created the same high-quality product at the same price with excellent service, but their paths diverged drastically.

Jordan, backed by strong finances, launched a polished, fast website with professional branding, SEO, and paid ads, quickly attracting a wide customer base.

Alex, from a low-income background, had to use a free, basic DIY website with no marketing budget, making it hard to gain visibility.

Despite equal effort and product quality, after six months Jordan’s business thrived while Alex’s struggled, highlighting that success is often less to do with talent and more about access to digital tools and opportunity.

By making top-tier web design affordable and accessible, we break down barriers that hold talented individuals back, empowering all startups, regardless of background, to compete in the digital world.

Our Impact Goals

Currently we have the capacity to create 3 powerful, custom websites every week, helping about 150 new businesses each year take their first real step toward success. With your support, we intend to grow our team after 12 months to double that output to 6 websites weekly, so no hardworking startup is left behind or forgotten.

A website is not a cost. It’s one of the most important investments a new business can make. Sure, you’ll find cheap DIY builders and £99 offers everywhere, but those “deals” often come with hidden fees and cookie-cutter designs that leave businesses lost in the depths of the internet.
